Serving Better Beer And Wine At Your Party

If you plan to serve both beer and wine to your guests at the party, then you must also know what to look for when tasting beer. If you are going to taste beers at your home then you must serve at least 12 different beers. This way you can choose from a wide range, though you should include at least two sweet beers, with two or three darker beers.

Pale and light beers should also be a part of your tasting, and drinking with a fruity undertone could go well with desserts you prepare. You should also include at least one or two reduced alcohol light beers, as they are becoming rather popular.

Apart from traditional beer and wine varieties at your dinner party, you may look to prepare drinks like cider, you can season with apple and cinnamon flavors. It will be a great addition to the food you serve at a fall or winter party.

If you need to learn how to taste wine, then one of the first things you want to check, is the color of the wine. Tilt your glass when you pour the wine, it will give you an idea of how rich the flavor will be. If you are testing a red wine, the color of the drink should be ruby, maroon, or brown in color.
