You may even visit your Europeans friends at home, so you can try out their meals at dinner time. Many of the Americanized meals, like pizza and spaghetti are already popular with many Americans. But the range of European meals is much wider than the most popular fare.

Once you try out all these different European meals, if there are any meals you really like, you can request European recipes from your friends and from the chef at the European restaurant. With all this knowledge, you will now know the type of cookbook you need to increase the variety of cooking in your kitchen.
