Muffin Recipes For Your Morning Breakfast

Okay, it's the middle of the afternoon and you are hungry and are looking for a small snack. Muffins are the perfect answer to your hunger pangs. They make great snacks whether at home or at the office.

What, you do not know any muffin recipes except those on a box? Have no fear, because there are some great recipes on the internet that will have those taste buds salivating for blueberry muffins, strawberry muffins or banana nut muffins.

The first step in making muffins is to find the right muffin recipes for your craving. The basic muffin ingredients are flour, sugar, milk, butter, baking powder, vanilla and salt. This is the base muffin mix. For blueberry muffins, however, you may choose to buy either fresh blueberries or frozen blueberries.

Avoid the canned blueberries because they are already sweetened and taste fake. You will need to sift the dry ingredients together and then add the milk, vanilla and butter. Mix until well blended but do not over mix.

Blueberries need to be gently folded into the batter. The technique of folding is quite simple. Simply insert your spoon or mixing spatula and gently turn over to incorporate the blueberries so that they do not break apart. Spray a non-stick muffin pan and bake for twenty to thirty minutes in a 350 degree oven.

Muffin recipes are easy to find and you can always turn to experimenting with other flavors and types such as great banana roll recipes or sweet bread recipes to add a little variety.
